Trusted Advisor – Windows & Doors Sales

Mountain View Window & Door | Denver or Grand Junction, CO

$50,000–$90,000+ | Full-Time | Uncapped Commission

This Isn't Just a Sales Job. It's a Career Worth Talking About.

Imagine waking up on Monday morning and actually looking forward to work. You're walking into a showroom that stops people in their tracks. You're representing products that architects, designers, and homeowners genuinely get excited about. You have warm leads waiting in your inbox. And you're backed by a team that wants you to win.

That's the reality of being a Trusted Advisor at Mountain View Window & Door.

We're a family-owned, Colorado-based window and door company with two locations — Denver and Grand Junction — and we're growing fast. We don't hire order-takers. We hire closers who care. People who are wired to build relationships, solve problems, and earn the kind of income that reflects the effort they put in.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

Why People Choose MVWD

Most salespeople leave their last job for one of three reasons: they weren't supported, they weren't recognized, or they hit an invisible ceiling. We've intentionally built a company that eliminates all three.

  • You're set up to succeed from Day 1. We provide sales training, product training, and full onboarding support, so you're never left figuring things out alone.

  • Leads come to you. Our award-winning website and Virtual Experience showroom generate inbound leads — you're not starting from scratch.

  • The ceiling doesn't exist here. Our compensation plan is designed to reward hard work without limits. First-year advisors typically earn $50K–$90K. Your second year? That's up to you.

  • You'll be proud of what you sell. We carry the industry's most respected luxury brands — Loewen, Andersen, Weather Shield, Euroline, Fleetwood, and LaCantina — products that speak for themselves.

  • Your team has your back. This is a collaborative, team-oriented environment. We celebrate wins together, support each other through challenges, and hold each other to a high standard.

What You'll Do

As a Trusted Advisor, you are the face of MVWD to architects, contractors, designers, and homeowners. You will:

  • Meet with clients — in person and over the phone — to understand their project needs, design vision, and budget

  • Present tailored window and door solutions and close deals

  • Serve as the liaison between the client and our internal purchasing, design, and production teams

  • Manage the full sales cycle: from first conversation through measurement, specification, and order

  • Continuously develop your product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise through our proven, consultative sales process

  • Build lasting relationships that generate referrals and repeat business

Our sales team works across new construction in residential, commercial, rural, industrial, and remodeling sectors. Every project is different. Every day is engaging.

What We're Looking For

We'll be honest with you: this role is not for everyone — and that's intentional.

We're looking for someone who:

✔ Has proven sales experience and knows how to ask for the sale — not someone who waits for the customer to decide
✔ Is coachable and open-minded — willing to learn our systems, adopt our processes, and leave old habits at the door
✔ Has a competitive drive to earn more, grow more, and be more
✔ Thrives in a structured, team environment where accountability is a feature, not a bug
✔ Takes pride in follow-through — you stay on top of your pipeline, your clients, and your commitments
✔ Brings positive energy and a work ethic that others notice

Construction knowledge is a bonus, but not a requirement. We will teach you everything you need to know about windows and doors. What we can't teach is the drive to close.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary + commission to start, transitioning to a 100% commission structure built to reward top performance

  • Typical first-year earnings: $50,000 – $90,000

  • Uncapped earning potential — your income reflects your effort, full stop

  • Paid training and onboarding

  • Access to award-winning showrooms and a nationally proven sales process

  • A company culture built on transparency, integrity, and genuine care for its people

  • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance

  • Holidays: 8 per calendar year.

  • PTO of 15 days per year

  • 401(k) through Empower - Available on the first of the month following 90 days of employment, the Company has a matching plan. The Company will match the first 4% of the employees’ contributions dollar for dollar, so 100%.

  • Life and AD+D Insurance Policy in the amount of $10,000 will be paid by MVWD and goes into effect the first of the month following 90-days of employment.

  • Company Products at Cost + 10%: Upon Completion of 90 days of employment.
